Job Description: This is responsible professional
work in the psychology involved in the administration of psychological services program in the hospital, health clinics, correctional
or educational institutions. Consult reference material such as textbooks manuals and journal in order to identify symptoms,
to make diagnoses and to develop approaches to treatment. Counsel individuals and groups regarding problems such as stress,
substance abuse and family situations, in order to modify behavior.
Job Qualifications: a) Must have a doctorate
in Clinical Psychology from an accredited college or university and b) must have completed two years of internship of which
at least one year must be after receiving the doctorate and c) must have successfully completed the Examination for Professional
Practice in Psychology administered by the state territory or district of the United States or d) Graduates from a foreign
school who meet the requirements established by the rules and regulations and are found qualified by the board may practice
as a Clinical Psychologist to the licensure requirements.
